4GB Memory Upgrade: What You Need to Know
A practical explanation of our server memory upgrade, what it improves and what clients need to do.
The upgrade is complete
We upgraded the available server memory to 4GB to give hosted websites more room to handle visitors, background processes and changing workloads.
Clients did not need to take any action. The work was handled by our technical team, with only the possibility of a brief interruption while the new configuration was applied.

What server memory does
Memory is the short-term working space a server uses while it processes requests. A site with too little memory may slow down, queue work or become unstable when traffic and background tasks compete for the same resources.
The right amount depends on the application, its traffic, extensions, databases and scheduled work. More is not automatically better, but enough headroom is essential for stable performance.

If a website is growing, running an online store or using resource-heavy extensions, our team can review its real usage before recommending a change. We prefer evidence over unnecessary upgrades.
